So you're new to BTS? Starting to get into them? The next step is to learn their names! Most people that are new to the world of kpop find it difficult to learn the names of group members because apparently "they look the same!" But have no fear, I shall help you get to know them better and hopefully by the end of this series you'll even have a bias (favorite member)! So let's get started!

This is the final part of the "Member Profile Series." Make sure to take a look at the previous parts if you haven't yet done so!
Part 4 will cover Rap Monster, Jin, and Suga.
So let's start with Rap Monster.

Birth Name: Kim Nam Joon
Nicknames: RapMon, RM, Leader Mon
Birth date: September 12, 1994
Position: Leader, Main Rapper

His idols are Kanye West and A$AP Rocky.
He is the messiest member.
In ten years he wants to be an international, famous, rich rapper.
He has a weird habit of rolling his shoulders back to loosen them up before singing or performing.

He studied in New Zealand prior to debuting and can speak English (and when he does, fans say it sounds like he has an Australian accent or somewhat of a ghetto twang).
His ideal type is someone with a refreshing voice, is tall but proportionate to his own height, has a fair, pale complexion, dresses simply, and would look good in just a pair of jeans, a white T-shirt, and some red Converse shoes (cough Suga cough).

He's known for breaking things all the time, so the other members often complain that they have to clean up his messes. Fans constantly joke about his clumsiness. We sometimes call him the "god of destruction," and he definitely lives up to that name.

Speaking of sunglasses, he was also notorious for always wearing sunglasses during debut days. Fans were always curious as to what he looked like without them, but we can all agree that they compliment his mysteriousness. Although personally, I prefer him without sunglasses. Many other rappers often wear sunglasses as well because the glasses accentuate their cool image.
He is the main rapper of BTS and has accomplished a lot since debut thanks to his well-respected skills. For example, he released his own mixtape in March this year. It contains 11 tracks, my personal favorite being "I Believe." ARMYs were very proud of him for producing such a stunning album even though he was extremely busy doing group promotions with BTS.
He also released a digital single called "Fantastic" as an OST for the Korean version of the movie Fantastic Four. This was a huge milestone in his career, and once again fans overflowed with pride.
Moving on to Jin!

Birth Name: Kim Seok Jin
Nicknames: Pink Princess (he likes Mario and the color pink), Hyung (he's the oldest in the group), or Mom
Birth date: December 4, 1992
Position: Vocalist, Visual
Height: 179 cm
Weight: 60 kg
Blood Type: O
Hobbies: Cooking, playing video games on the Nintendo, taking selcas
Random Facts: He was born in Anyang.
He really really really likes the color pink.
He's in charge of cleaning up the dorm, usually because RapMon messes everything up.
T.O.P from Big Bang is his role model.
He has a weird habit of blinking his left eye when he’s hungry.
He prizes his Maple Story action figures as much as his Super Mario action figures.
In ten years he wants to be Sergeant Kim Seok Jin in the Bangtan army, and after that he wants to be a Jin that mothers would like watching on the TV.
His ideal type is someone who will be a good wife, is good at cooking, and is nice.

He loves to eat, and he somehow manages to still look good while eating. Thus, he has his own series of Bangtan Bombs called "Eat Jin." It's basically a mukbang (means "eating room" in Korean) show where he eats A LOT of food and makes us all jealous while, of course, looking like a prince.
He and RapMon are known as the worst dancers in the group, but of course they are still great dancers! They work extra hard to keep up with the rest of the members and to learn the extremely difficult choreography that BTS is known for.

Nevertheless, fans love them for who they are and they continue to surprise us with their improvement in every comeback!
Jin is also the visual of the group, meaning he is the best-looking and it's his job to attract new fans. I definitely agree, his looks are on a whole different level. Just look at him.

He's the sweetest and most mature member of BTS. He can be shy in front of the camera and often doesn't know what to do when he's being filmed, so fans dub him as the most awkward member. Many of us find his awkwardness cute. However, his dorky and outgoing side eventually comes out in front of the camera every now and then. These precious times are treats for ARMYs.

Now it's time for Suga!
Stage Name: Suga
Birth Name: Min Yoon Gi
Nicknames: Grandpa or Seol Tang (Sugar in Korean)
Birth date: March 9, 1993
Position: Lead Rapper
Height: 176 cm
Weight: 57 kg
Blood Type: O
Hobbies: Doing nothing when he has free time, taking photos, avoiding having to do work
Random Facts: He was born in Daegu.
He was an underground rapper before joining Big Hit Entertainment.
When he laughs, it sounds like “eungkyakya.”
He speaks with a satoori accent when he’s nervous and when he cries.
His icons are Kanye west, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, and Hit Boy.
In ten years he wants to dominate the world with his music.
His ideal type is a girl who appreciates music, especially hip-hop.

Suga is proud of his legs and even claims that they're as nice as the girls' legs from Girls' Generation. Fans definitely agree that he has fabulous legs, and we're constantly jealous. Can you tell the difference?
One of his nicknames is "grandpa yoongi" because he's extremely lazy, like extremely lazy. However, that's only between practices and recordings when they have breaks. He's definitely a hard worker and has greatly improved his dancing as well as rapping over the years. On the other hand, he takes advantage of almost every moment they have to rest and highly values his sleep. The maknae line is often seen bothering Suga while he's resting. Poor Suga. But be warned, he shows no mercy when you disturb his sleep. The other members learned this the hard way, although it seems like they have yet to learn their lesson.
Suga is honestly the definition of "yolo" and "swag." He has that "I don't give a crap" attitude behind the scenes, but the second he walks on stage and starts rapping, he brings out a whole new side of him. His stage personality overflows with charisma and he really gets into the music. You can see the passion in his eyes and hear it in his voice.
